Summer 2025 Reading FAQ
Everyone! Our Summer Reading Challenge is open to all ages—from babies and toddlers to teens and adults. There’s something for everyone!
You can sign up online or in person at the library starting June 2. Just choose your age group and you’ll get a reading log.
Reading means any of the following:
- Books, eBooks, graphic novels, magazines
- Audiobooks and being read to (yes, that counts!)
- Independent reading, shared reading, or classroom books
Absolutely! Just bring your reading log with you or update it when you return. Some of our events will also have virtual options, so you can stay connected wherever you are.
Yes! All formats count—as long as you're engaging with stories or information, you’re leveling up your brain.
Each age group has its own set of milestone prizes and chances to win grand prize drawings.
Nope! While our events are full of fun and bonus opportunities to earn prizes, you can participate entirely through reading if that’s your preference.
Use your paper log from the library or download a copy at home. Just keep track of every day you read. That's it!
Yes! Families can read together and track reading as a group or individually. It’s a great way to bond and build a love of books for all ages.
