Library Services

South Holland residents with valid library cards can use their card to log in to our public computers.

Non-residents can request a guest pass to log in.

Computer sessions are 1 hour, with a maximum time of 5 hours per day.

Copying and Printing is available in all computer areas.

The cost to print or copy is 25¢ per page (per side) for Black & White and 25¢ per page (per side) for Color.

Two (2) copiers/printers are available in Public Services on the main level, and one (1) printer is available in Youth Services on the lower level.

Credit or debit cards are accepted for copying and printing. Please note that there will be a $20.00 pre-authorization on your credit or debit card.

Fax service is available for $1.00 per page. Credit or debit cards are accepted. No pre-authorization is required for card payments. Faxes are limited to 20 pages at a time.

Scan your documents and/or photos, and send them to an e-mail address; or save them to a cloud storage service, USB device or a smartphone. You can also scan documents and translate them into another language. 

Please note there is a 15-minute time limit for each patron using the EZ Scan system.

9-inch x 11½-inch Laminating Sheets are available for purchase:

Purchase of laminating sheets includes the use of the library's laminator, if desired.

The South Holland Public Library provides meeting rooms as a limited forum to primarily meet the operational needs of the Library and to support the educational, informational, cultural, and civic needs of the community.

Our Pantry offers food, toiletries, and other necessities to community members in need.

Print from anywhere there is internet using a computer or cell phone. 1. Select the file you want to print 2. Type a username 3. Pick up your print job in the Library with the username you assigned.

We provide notary services during most hours of operation for $1.00 per signature (cash only).

We recommend that you call Public Services at (708) 527-3160 to schedule an appointment with our Notary.
